Sometimes, we do things and we expect that we did well. It saddens you when people don’t like what you did or they don’t praise what you thought to be good. 
Don’t worry and don’t feel sad.
It is a sign of sincerity when praising and criticism of others are equal in your heart providing that the deed was correct. People will never all approve of what you do. 
The Prophet sallaAllahu alaihi was
allam was criticized by the hypocrites while Qarun, the cousin of Moses, peace be upon him, was praised by his ignorant people. 


So, when someone praises you, don’t be flattered and when someone criticizes you, don’t become depressed. If you succeed in this, you are sincere.
