The Prophet (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) said, 

“Whoever is struck by poverty, and he goes around telling people about it, (i.e., complaining in the hope of receiving help), then his calamity will not be relieved.

(Whereas) Whoever is struck by poverty, and he complains to Allah about it, Allah will grant him relief sooner or later.”
